Paul Tait and my Exhibition "Cornucopia" is up at Rona until 30 October, come along. Or if that is impossible, you can get a small taste of some of the paintings here on the Rona Gallery website.
Paul Tait, is a technically brilliant artist who first began showing his work in Texas. His style is somehting he has worked hard to develop, and although it has been influenced by surrealism and superflat, it can best be described by the term "Taitism." More about Paul Tait here - enjoy!

This and that and Spring
Well our website has been up for a while, so I've hardly had any time for this blog. But here on our news page http://www.art-gallery-newzealand.com/News.html you'll find that spring has really sprung. The gallery looks fantastic! And we're proud to have so many great artists adorning our walls.
Both Ken Hunt and Alison Anker are madly into birds, their work is simply delightful. so come in and have a look - or check out Ken Hunt's work http://www.art-gallery-newzealand.com/shop/example1/Ken+Hunt.html
and hopefully we'll organise Alison's pages soon. When I have a minute.
so wherever you are - enjoy this moment of spring.
Richard.

My Splatter exhibition has some unusual guests. Splatter is not new for me but it is a development of my unique style
My Splatter exhibition caused quite a stir. Two unexpected guests turned up in the form of Peter Rabbit and Spot the Dog. Mrs Rabbit shoed them away eventually, so they

10 years anniversary for Rona Gallery and Silent Auction of Iconic "My Bay"
As part of the birthday celebrations
My original painting, “At The Bay” has become an iconic picture of Eastbourne, originally the title was as an homage to Katherine Mansfield’s short story “At The Bay.”
“My Bay” also shows a naive view of Days Bay, full of life and fun and many of the activities that make Days Bay Wellingtons favourite beach destination.

Four days to go and I'm absolutely flat out trying to organise the "brother's exhibition," and I hear that Michael at long last is painting furiously -- even though he has shingles!

Ponder Brother's Exhibition
It's all on Rona Gallery, I've been away to a wedding in Dunedin, but now everything is getting on track for "The Ponder Brother's" exhibition. On display will be some iconic New Zealand art from Michael, not to mention an outstanding example of my Wellington at Night series and "My Bay"
